he Department of Life Sciences, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore routinely honours the contributions of National Personalities. In this endeavour, the department has organized a lecture series on national personalities like Dr TN Ananthakrishnan Iyar and
Dr TV Ramakrishna Iyer, on 25th February 2020 at 10-11am at Council Room, Central block coordinated by Dr Krishnakumar V and Dr.P. Manikantan. The program was attended by M.Sc. Zoology (both I and II year) students. Dr John Paul A, Assistant Professor, St. Joseph’s College, Bangalore was the guest speaker for the programme. Dr John delivered the lecture on the achievements and contributions of the above mentioned eminent personalities. M.Sc. Zoology (both I and II year) students were attended the lecture.  Dr Krishnakumar V, Assistant Professor, has given the welcome address and Miss Nanditha, student of II M.Sc Zoology has delivered the vote of thanks for the event.
